"I can't imagine a nicer lodging choice in Vermillion, SD. The owners invested a tremendous amount of work, love and money into renovating our 100 yr old fraternity house into a beautiful, warm and charming bed and breakfast with all the modern amenities-and great breakfasts. Each fall for the past three years our BETA alums, some of whom lived in this house, have gathered here for a reunion. Owners Carson, Courtney and staff have been excellent hosts."
"This is an exceptional place to stay. Old (~100 yr old) fraternity house renovated to the original style (flooring, woodwork, stairs, etc.) with current comforts ('comfort stations' on both upper floors, individual heat/AC room controls, spacious showers with rain head, wonderful bed-ours was a king, large flat screen and many other). Rooms are luxurious and breakfast was fantastic. We were in town to watch the opera at USD and will return to stay again for other USD events as well as just to visit. They even allowed our son who is a graduate student at USD to join us for breakfast (no extra charge). It is two blocks from the downtown area which has been renovated with a number of places to eat and drink. Owners are very friendly. This is one of the best places at which we have ever stayed."
"Prepare to be impressed. This is a beautiful renovation of a 100 year old home. (former fraternity house) The decor and amennities are top notch, the rooms were spacious, the beds were super comfortable, heated floors in the bathroom are a unique luxury. Coffee bars and snack stations on each floor not to mention the included breakfast. They even invited my (college student) daughter (who we were there to visit) to join us for breakfast at no charge. If you enjoy the night life it is an easy walk to the bars and restaurants downtown. I wish I would have taken photos to add to this review. I can't say enough about this B&B and would whole-heartedly recommend this as a lodging option when visiting Vermillion. We'll definitly stay aagain."
"We loved our stay at the Inn. The location was perfect, and the Inn was beautifully redone from top to bottom. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and Carson was the perfect host. Breakfast was amazing! We were in Vermilion to see our granddaughter perform in the high school band competition. Thank you for your warm hospitality, Carson! - Bob & Marsha"
"Wow! What a beautiful place! The renovation is absolutely beautiful and the people are amazing. The beds are so comfortable and all the amenities were a nice touch. Hairdryer is provided in the room. Snacks and drinks were available and each floor had a coffee station, microwave, and mini fridge. The main floor area was comfortable and nice to have friends and family sit and chat. The family that runs it are so hospitable and every need was anticipated and met. The breakfast was delicious and the accommodations were top notch. I cannot wait to visit again soon."
