"The service in the center was very awesome. This is not directed to the kind and friendly staff during surgery date. The billing department though, just a lot less empathetic and I don’t feel like I received the information I was asking. I was just referred back to my insurance company and my insurance company told me that it’s the ambulatory billing. They charged me $10,327 for a surgery. Last year I went to a different hospital for the same surgery on the other foot and their bill total was $4559.80. I’m just wanting to bring awareness to people because it’s absolutely insane of a difference in which hospitals can charge. Definitely learned my lesson—shop around."
