"As a third year student (currently), I have had a couple visits with Student Health. Overall, the staff was very professional and respectful for the majority of visits I've had. Sometimes, depending on the day, the receptionists have been rude/impatient with helping you, and I have seen others say things similar to this."
"Horrifying administrative team. After years of going here, I’ve had countless issues that were all due to the poor planning/ unknowledgeable front desk staff. Routinely greeted with an attitude. They should consider fixing their online platform to allow you make appointments without conversing with their administrative staff."
"Receptionists are very rude. The doctors and nurses have been amazing but the receptionists are some of the most unprofessional people I have met. They get mad at you for trying schedule an appointment, and got forbid you have to cancel or move it. They shouldn’t be working with students and young adults. If something isn’t simple and easy they suddenly cannot comprehend doing it. M They also have provided me with a service for the last three months and suddenly don’t have it anymore without warning. Honestly just go to QuickCare if you can."
"Honestly had both good and bad experiences here. Dr. Johnson does listen to concerns and tries to appease patients. The allergy nurses are the BEST. They are super nice and friendly and make sure they cover all their bases every time so that you are treated properly. Dr. Woodward did not seem to understand my list of allergies and medications though he is the one that runs the allergy clinic. In response to possible STIs or bodily infections they are very good at testing, getting lots of information, and getting back to you typically within 48hrs. They are a little impersonal/harsh/cold when asking questions, especially about STIs and some of the nurses can be quite condescending. The billing department has no idea what is happening and is absolutely a train wreck. Dr. Johnson, allergy nurses, and front desk staff are great. Everything else is hit or miss."
"My provider Samantha Bemrich gave me great care! I pulled my muscle during an exercise and resulted in an mysterious odd pain on my arm. She took a look and gave her best shot ( she is a physician assistant), prescribed some meds for me and told me to not train for a week. I was fully recovered and got back on my training again! Did not cost me a single dollar. I absolutely enjoyed the service, such a great place for poor college student!"
