"Dental clinic is horrible. dental assistant was rude as all hell, I can only assume that the kid working with me was a fresh outta school student. As soon as I expressed my concerns "well we can't help you here".Things could have been addressed when I called in and I wouldn't have wasted my time. Never going back as far as I'm concerned, the way the assistant was I almost walked out before the visit even started."
"Wife gave birth here the staff lacked common sense. The baby’s O2 levels were low and she was struggling to breathe through her nose. The staff kept a pacifier in her mouth and had the babies foot tightly wrapped in tape. (Foot was purple and turning white) I didn’t know white came after purple. They don’t have a nicu and we had to travel 15-20 mins to a nicu. This could have been life threatening. Worst experience of my life."
"My family member had to stay in the inpatient unit for mental health. The Unit Clerk Anne was completely unprofessional. She hung up on me several times and also refused to let me talk to my family member or the nurse which I had a signed waiver saying I could do both. When reported I was told her manager Heidi would call me but no call from Heidi so clearly it’s okay that the Unit Clerk treats family members like garbage and kind of concerning because how are people on the inside treated likes? Then I was also told a patient advocate Abby would call me to discuss my concerns and yet no call from the patient advocate. Also, I bought my family member two new books (total $40) that the unit said were “loss”. They put a sticker on it that had his name and all his info on it. How do you loose something in a locked unit? No one will call me back about that either. Also, the doctor my family member saw when he was there said he spent “a lot of time with him” which is how he came up with his diagnosis. He actually only spent maybe 20 minutes total with my family member who was there was almost three weeks. My family member stated he found a razor in the bathroom and talked about how his room wasn’t cleaned for multiple days in a row. He did that infront a judge and lawyer who just said “well that is the mental health system”. So if you want to be abused, have your stuff stolen, and don’t want anyone to call you back this is the place to be! How they aren’t sued more often I honestly don’t know."
"I left work at 7 o'clock tonight to take buses here because I was having an allergic reaction to a shot of penicillin I got 4 days ago! There are hives all over my body and it itches so bad I want to scratch my shin off!!! Now my boss was none too happy about me taking off at 7 p.m. during dinner rush but I had no choice I was about to lose it!! Now it is 11:30 p.m. I got here at 8 p.m. and have still been waiting in the lobby to see a doctor in the EMERGENCY ROOM !!! Thank God I haven't gone into a complete and total anaphylactic shock while waiting!!!! I was beginning to think with the broadlands clinics who get people in and out and take good care of them that Broadlawns wasnt just a lousy county hodpital anymore and actually cared about their patients these days!!! The last thing my boss said to me was bring him a doctor's note. Now it's a buses hadn't stopped running I would have gone to a different hospital instead of sitting here watching these people take person after person after person who have come in hours after myself. I am sad and ashamed of terrible hospital!!!!"
"Took my father to urgent care. Dusty, at the front desk was amazing. She provided outstanding, fast and courteous service. She got my father registered and into urgent care within 3 minutes. I cannot say enough how amazing she is. Once at urgent care we waited less then 5 minutes and the nurse, Ellie, was very knowledgeable, and friendly. She was respectful to my father and to myself. I recommend asking to see her next time you come here. The facility was spotless and meticulously maintained. The waiting area and treatment room were clean and sanitized. Overall, the staff, Dusty and Ellie, and the facility were absolutely amazing. Kudos to Dusty and nurse Ellie, They were both very helpful and respectful."
