Reviews of Pappajohn Sculpture Park
"There is paid parking all around it. Not super inviting to just sit and enjoy but there are some places to sit. Says it is not smoking but there was a lot of people smoking. Art was interesting and some nightmarish."
"This place was pretty cool. Some weird sculptures, but some cool ones, too, and definitely plenty to see and talk about. There's audio information via a phone number, so you can learn more about each piece, if desired."
"This park is so well maintained. It’s clean, open and very fun for a quick walk to enjoy the artwork. The sculptures are spread out with lots to look at, unique pieces. It’s in a cute neighborhood with plenty to eat and coffee shops. Worth a visit if you’re in the area."
"This was a special treat as this park didn't exist when I lived here as a kid. Great place for a picnic and for the kiddos to run around (or roll down hills!). Parking meters are located along the perimeter of the park and parking is free on Sundays. You can use the ParkDSM app for parking."
"We really enjoyed walking around and playing in the grass. There are a lot more art pieces than the pictures I uploaded. We did wish that it was a little more interactive than do not touch since it’s a central park. Definitely a good stop to stretch your legs and let the kids run around on a trip. We were in the area on vacation for the week and we’re glad we stopped by."
