"Fat Chance Belly Dance style tribal dance class in 106 with Dawn Grey - she has danced all her life and is absolutely the BEST instructor. Welcoming, not critical, and her kinesiology knowledge is an important aspect of learning. You are not just copying a step. She can break down a step until it makes sense to me. The building has lots of art and studios to peruse. Dawn's studio can hold many dancers, has huge mirrors and air conditioning. If you ever wanted to have fun dancing with other women you must try it when classes begin again in February! I am a student and it's not what you think when you hear "belly dance". Try it and see!"
"JJGAFFERS WAS AWESOME. We had a great time"
"Love it! Dropped in on a visit to Des Moines and loved meeting the artists and seeing all the work. What an awesome space. Need to come back for Firat Friday. Pics from J.J. Gaffers glass studio."
"I came in as a Vendor, I've always driven by this cool building. Finally got to see what’s happening inside (a lot of amazing stuff). Great parking in the lower level (also parking available if you're pulling a trailer), everything is well lit, clean place, freight elevator available, as a dj quick access and unloading, overall great event venue!"
"I'm a Des Moines transplant. Some locals suggested I come here for First Friday. What a wonderful experience! It was so interesting to see everyone's craft and grab some unique gifts for my loved ones. The availability of food and drinks while we walked through also elevated the whole experience. I also love the design of the building and the layout. Can't wait for the next one!"
