"Completely rude receptionist. I have been recommended to this vet before because of their great work, but even that friend said they could no longer go because of the receptionist. When I called to see if it was possible to get an appointment for an emergency situation (as the emergency vet themselves said their price was steep and suggested shopping around), the receptionist scoffed at me and started to scold me about how no vet would ever do such a thing and be able to take in a patient in such need. I told her that I was recommended calling around by doctors and the humane society (when she said "I don't know what your *friends* are recommending"), how the humane society was confused why there was no one available to help, told of how my own vet was trying to help me out, and of another option I have been told by everyone to try (though sadly they are booked too). She then agreed to the last option, saying it was a really good suggestion???? It sounded like she should've thought about being kinder than she actually was, if she was going to agree to that. Will NEVER visit here or call again, and I will recommend everyone the same until they have a better receptionist team. Edit: Text is a very delicate way of communication. By no means was I meaning to come off as rude, but as stressed from this situation. I was told these things while my cat was in serious pain. Would someone be completely calm in that situation? I do not understand how me doing my best to outline the truth is an "attitude problem", especially when I don't know any of you and you don't know anything about me. Again, completely unprofessional. I will make sure to let people know to steer clear of you all the next time I am raising money and awareness for pet charities. Especially if the owner is going to say one thing, then turn 180 degrees and underhand their whole comment. Hope you have a great day, and I hope the vet treats pets better than the people treat other people. :)"
"They did a great job with my Garfield cat. He is now a lot happier."
"At first it started off good, the visits with my animals were good, but then the “manager” or whoever she claimed to be was really rude over the phone, she got defensive after I got defensive because the way she was talking to me from the start was terrible not letting me finish what I was trying to say. I had never had this issue with any of the people at the clinic, she sounded like she was in a rush which is no excuse to treat their clients like they’re garbage. I asked to speak to a different person and she didn’t let me she wanted to be possessive going back and forth with me. I don’t know how people expect you to react well to someone not letting you finish what you tried to explain. Terrible I will be switching to a different vet clinic. Definitely don’t want to deal with this kind of attitude. I have 8 animals at this clinic total and it’s just terrible how this person reacted this time."
"I am beyond pissed off with this poor excuse of a vet clinic if you could even call it a vet clinic. My dog's nail broke this bad because of them. I informed them of her medical condition Lupoid Onychitis that their sister vet Valley View diagnosed to which they told me that the condition doesn't exist and I was essentially making it up. I provided her medicine THAT SHOWS THE ACTUAL DIAGNOSIS ON IT AND THEY STILL SAID IT DIDN'T EXIST and that she's just digging in the dirt. I told them I could even get her records from Valley View or they could even get her records. They said they would handle it AND NEVER EVEN ATTEMPTED TO GET HER RECORDS. I said if it didn't exist how is it that your sister vet knew AND DIAGNOSED IT plus it's even on Google. They just kept reiterating I was making it up. I asked if they could please remove the nail so it didn't grow further like that while it was already broke, They said they can't even do that. The pictures are the result of their negligence and my dog had to have the whole nail removed almost to the bone. Her nails that were LITERALLY broke in half andcontinued to grow like that because of this poor excuse of a "vet clinic". And it caused her serious pain from it. The staff here should take actual veterinarian training or should be shut down as their behavior and lack of animals medical conditions and how to care for them is seriously concerning. It's amazing how Valley View knew about her condition and actually cared for her properly. The only positive thing I have to say about this "vet clinic" is the first lady that answered the phone the first time I called was very friendly. Other than that, I'd recommend taking your animals to an actual vet clinic that is fully trained in animals medical conditions or you will experience the same problems I did with them."
"Strohbehn Veterinary Clinic was great with my 15 week old puppy. They took their time, and was able to give my puppy her shots without being ruff with her, unlike some other vets I knew of. Thank you so much, and we'll see you soon!"
