"Just not great. Office staff left me waiting for a while. And when I purchased glasses there, I wasn't informed of all the options ahead of time. So what I ended up getting wasn't exactly what I wanted."

"My husband ordered a pair of prescription glasses from Jensen eye clinic. He failed to mention he has vision insurance so we paid full price. Months later I found out and contacted Jensen. I was told it passed 90 days from the date of purchase so they can’t submit the claim. I contacted insurance company myself and they said there is no problem submitting the claim and worked with Jensen while I was on hold. A reimbursement was promised by the insurance but due to holiday season it was delayed. Today I called Jensen to check the update but got the same answer it passed 90 days so it can’t be claimed. I explained I already contacted insurance and they agreed to reimburse, instead of investigating the situation to help a customer, the lady I spoke to was inpatient :“I don’t know who you talked to, but our policy is 90 days.” I will never go back to this clinic again, never."

"Let me say, that I have been a patient of Dr. Jensen for approx. 35 plus years, and have always loved using their services, until recently when Dr. Jensen sold the practice. Today, a snowy day in Iowa, I drove 25 minutes one way to take my daughter in for an appointment. Due to road conditions we were late (20min) instead of checking to see if they could work us in, just flatly told we would have to reschedule, so over an hour of my day for nothing, and will have to do it again on another day. Also, they used is replace my kids glasses if they broke within the window where our insurance won't pay for another pair, and now, just once they will replace, otherwise you are on your own. Why would I pay extra to get glasses at the eye doctor office to get the same customer service as elsewhere? So sad to write this, but hoping they realize how far down hill their customer service has gone. I have never thought about going to another eye doctor, until today . . . ."

"Very happy with my visit and the Doctor. She was very professional, personal, and thorough. However, I found the office to be not competitive with their pricing. Everything pertaining to purchase was fairly high...in my opinion. I will be buying frames and progressive lenses elsewhere. Yes, I even had insurance. Yes, I would recommend this business. I would happily come back for an exam."
