"The bathrooms are disgusting. NEVER cleaned. The grass area is full of prickly weeds. And my SUV broke down there for 2 nights. Battery died and ran out of gas...not one county employee could help me."
"Hoopers can find here double-rim, glossy concrete courts and all halfcourt. There are five courts to ball on. The nets are pretty dusty, too."
"It's a nice park. There Is always a nice amount of people. And always seems to have some kind of party. Bathrooms are not that clean. And I would recommend NOT letting the Littles ones go in there by themselves."
"This used to be a great park. But the last few years they have just let everything die. What is left of the grass is full of stickers. So much so that some of our friends stopped coming. It is such a hassle to pick off all of the stickers when you get home. Where there isn’t grass it is dirt or mud when they water. And all of the new trees that people paid to have planted with a memorial plaque have all died. Trash on the sides of the park. They even have two areas in the back where they dumped fill materials. We tried calling the parks dept to no avail. Such a shame. We never see the groundskeepers any more they just drive through the parking lot and leave."
"Duck Creek features 15 acres of fun in the southern quadrant of Las Vegas. It has two special features that make it, well, special: three bocce ball courts, which generally appeal to an older crowd, and a challenging skate park for the kids. Clark County has a charming tradition. You can pay them to install a plaque under your favorite tree with the name of your loved o. The plaque has their birth day and date of death, kind of like a tombstone. Then you can decorate the ground under the tree. I love this tradition makes it just makes it easier to be with your lost loved ones and the park is uplifting unlike a cemetery. I've included photos of one such memorial. The family has put inspirational items under the tree. There are two basketball courts and a cooling splash pad for kids and adults who like to act like kids, although it's not in use now because of Covid-19. The green goes on for blocks. Room for everyone and everything. I don't know if I have enough friends to fill the Texas-sized dining pavilion. It's covered so you can enjoy your barbecue protected from the broiling Vegas sun. Barbecue grills provided. The playground has plenty of variety to keep the kids entertained. Hey, it's not Utah's Duck Creek but it will certainly do."
