"Appears to me that they make rules up as they go. Refused my car the first time because the e brake was not working, (understandable) my car at the time has an issue where the passenger door would not open as well. They said there no problem with shipping the car with a non-opening passenger door. SO as one does, we get the e-brake fixed… etc etc. we take the car back. (My last chance at getting my car shipped to Hawaii) They REFUSE my car that passed a safety check, all new tires. Up to date on registration, and squeaky clean. Why tell us the first that time, that the passenger car door does not need to fully open in order to ship. Now today they refused my car and asked for random paperwork that is not required on the website . Seems to me they need to do full blown training session with all of their employees since none of them know what the hell they are doing. Disappointed is a an understatement."
"Fast, efficient, and courteous service! I got to the VPC around 0700, did the walk-on, as appointments were booked 3-days out. Upon arriving, I checked-in, and turned in my shipping documents. I was asked to wait until the car is brought to the inspection area. About 10-15x minutes later my name was called, and I walked over to the inspection area with the rep. The inspection walk through was quick and easy. Overall, I was able to arrive and leave with my car in less than 30 minutes. Recommend arriving before 0700, if you plan to walk-on!"
"Very fast process to pick up my vehicle. Facility was clean and staff are very welcoming. Only complaint was that we had to call to find out our vehicle was ready for pick up, email came after…"
"THE. WORST. VPC. I have EVER encountered in 20 plus years of service! I have shipped multiple vehicles multiple time overseas and never have I encountered such a slow, terrible customer service experience. Their throughput is absolutely terrible! The staff who gets your paperwork ready does not communicate! The first person I talk to told me something and the next person I talked to told me something completely different! My favorite part of the operation is the fact that their entire operation stops doing anything during their posted “break times.” They do that because customer service is not their priority because this is a government contract and they are going to get paid no matter what! Lastly someone else who was waiting had an appointment at 1:15 and didn’t get his paperwork started until 2:46! If you have to deal with this VPC please be prepared to not have a pleasant or easy experience! Lastly after having gone through the entire process, the problem is not with the inspectors, the problem is with the staff who prepares the paperwork!"
"They have one job. Ship cars and they can’t even do it right. I guess that’s what comes with the “lowest bidder” an absolute embarrassment of a company. Treating us service members like second class citizens maybe cause we don’t pay for shipping ourselves? Maybe if you’re a higher ranking officer you get the red carpet treatment. As for us enlisted folks we get the “dollar menu.” Whoever owns this company should be ashamed. They expect us to bring in our cars in showroom quality and then we get them back like it rolled around in the dirt. They embody the term “Good enough for Government use.”"
