"Fantastic experience. This is the best way to bike down Haleakala. Bikes are new, comfortable and safe. Matt provides helmets, jackets and gloves. And the ride to the sea is incredibly scenic. Plus Matt provides homemade baked goods and takes all the photos for you. We had a blast. This tour leaves at 8 am so you can sleep in and avoid the sunrise crowds. We had the road to ourselves. I highly recommend doing this tour and then driving to see sunset (vs sunrise) on Haleakala. You can pick good viewing weather and crowds are smaller. But sunset is just as beautiful."

"Maui Bombers is awesome! We chose it because of the personalized approach, and experience of a self guided tour. The website and communication is fantastic and they set you up with everything that's needed. Eric is friendly and a great guide, knowledgeable about the island and ecology. We biked on a Sunday morning and had the roads to ourselves. The S-turns at elevation were incredible along with the views. We stopped in the small town for coffee, and to enjoy treats that Matt and the team provided. The highlight of the last leg was seeing the ocean as we rounded the turns and returned to sea level. I would book with Maui Bombers vs. the other agencies b/c they personalize the experience, and you can control it. We chose Maui Bombers b/c we could set the pace vs. be stuck with a large group where the pace would be inhibited. Also, the focus is on the biking experience vs. touring in a shuttle. Avoid the large group tours and choose these guys!"
