"Mediocre stay here. The beach and location are excellent! However, there is nothing to eat in this area - you'll have to drive into Kihei or another town closeby, which actually isn't bad because that's where all the amazing food is. There's no real service at this hotel apart from the check-in so consider this a very self-sufficient space. It felt like we paid much more than the quality of stay, it's likely a 3 star hotel, however, everything is super pricey in Maui so it's likely what we had to pay. There’s an 808 convenience store downstairs, but expect to pay $6 USD for a water bottle."

"AMAZING!!! The location is incredible but the staff are who make it always a pleasure for us. They go above and beyond to make our stays perfect. Austin at the front desk is the BEST front desk person. He helped me solve a problem (not hotel problem my own with room change) with kindness and patience. Fast, efficient this is our go to place!"

"We stayed here as a family after the Lahaina fires. It was an absolutely perfect location. The water was easily accessible where we saw lots of sea life and sea turtles during our snorkels. Not fancy by any means and our kids loved the pool. Wish there was a hot tub and a restaurant but maybe they're working on it? Highly recommend especially for families!"

"The beach and view are incredible. Perfect for an amazing sunset every night. Now for the hotel... I wouldn't call it a hotel. The rooms on the website are very different than what you are given. If you want a NYC size hotel room you have come to the right place. Barely enough room to have two luggage bags in the room. Only one person at a time can fit into the bathroom. Also for the pool towels, access code to the pool and bathroom, you can only get that from 8-5. If you come before or after you are SOL. So I don't consider this hotel full service. One day, I saw the property manager talking with the concierge, I asked if we could get some towels and the code it was shortly after 5pm. He said no he is the property manager. So he is above being there for his guests. I think most of the rooms are condos and most likely this hotel should turn into condos espeically if the front desk staff are only there during working hours. Would I stay here agian no, would I come to the beach in front of the Mana Kai yes."

"If I could give this place a zero, I would. Made a reservation via website. (My compliments to their website designer) Place was run down compared to website. They also said that there was a problem with my credit card and canceled my reservation the night before I left for the island. My stay was for 2 days. When I arrived they told me that they had a room but they only rent for 3 day minimum. If I stayed, it would be triple the price. There I was, stranded on that rock with no place to stay, so I had no choice but to leave the island. This was the second hotel that did this to me with a completely different credit card. I used both of the cards all over the islands without any problems, so this is a quick way to recover from the fires is to strand families on the island and force them to pay exorbitant prices to stay. WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE COMING BACK.!!!"
