"I've had my accounts with BMO for about 15 years and didn't want to close a long-term relationship, but they suck so much now. After the transition in September, they are not open on Saturdays. Paying cash for BMO credit card or transferring $$ to it from BMO checking account takes two days to post a credit. Still have an account with them open just to make sure all my payments are transferred and will be closing them pretty soon. I already opened accounts with Chase (free personal checks, money orders and cashier's checks), better interest rates, got a higher limit credit card with much better benefits and they open until 2PM on Saturdays."

"I arrived at the bank and the two tellers were helping other clients. I was next in line and 25 minutes later I finally get some service. For some reason this branch has to call and verify every check I am cashing. I just cashed a higher dollar check at one of their other branches yesterday and was in and out in 10 minutes. No phone calls necessary. Was charged $9.50 per check as well. All of the checks were from the same client of mine so I find this excessive. They made no offer to waive any of the fees due to the excessive wait times either. After all of this, they still try to get you to open an account. Based on the level of service here, it will be a cold day in hell before that happens."
