"We arrived late in the evening. Owner helped us with codes and how to get in. She was very helpful As to the room. Very clean and comfortable. We had a sliding door to get us to a pleasant lanai. Bathroom was across the hallway. No issues there either. Clean and neat There was a full kitchen, living and dining room for our use as well. Location is good. Close to Kailua Kona and also close to the airport We stayed for 3 days but certainly might come back at our next visit to the Big Island Mahalo"

"!!!DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!! The overall condition of the place unfortunately did not match the descriptions on the website at all. E.g. one towl was wet, one stained and the other one smelled badly! Also, I'm not quite sure if the bed sheets were changed. The shower as well as the bathroom floor was full of hair and even though we had the windows open for quite some time the weird smell of the rooms lingered. Moreover the front yard is full of rubbish. This is simply not acceptable!"

"It was dirty, we never did meet with the owner! Very thing was at least 20 years old including the bedding! I do not recommend staying there, only if you are in a pinch. I will say the fresh fruit trees were great. I had to fix the internet (wasn't working, rebooted it) and the screen door was off it's track, also it was so HOT! No air conditioning in house! So much dust!!!!"

"The second time around at this property. Back by the end of last year we had the cozy ground floor unit: Nice size bedroom, good size living room with the right furniture and a small kitchen, enough for breakfast and night snacks, though (otherwise known as the perfect size for a week in Hawaii). This time we took the surprisingly unavailable online top floor. It’s a large spacious and nicely decorated comfortable unit, facing West, full size kitchen, ocean view. It will easily accommodate two couples with lots of room to spare, if sharing the bathroom. Makes you want to come back early just to enjoy the view from the awesome large veranda. Home away from home."
