"I needed help with uncontrollable acne and was told by Dr King that “they don’t deal with hormones, as that was an elective”. I didn’t elect to hormone issues, that happens with age and a hysterectomy. I ended up flying to Montana and was able to find a doctor to prescribe me what I needed, then flew back here and found a doctor to prescribe it to me. It shouldn’t have taken me to fly elsewhere to get the help I needed. We need better medical care in Hawaii. HFH is more surface level care. You can’t have any real health problems to be seen here. You’d be better off using homeopathic or naturopathic remedies. (Which I ultimately did and it helped better than this clinic.)"

"I WAS REFUSED MEDICAL CARE HERE DUE TO HAVING A PRE EXISTING CONDITION......... I AM DISABLED Should Have Read All the Bad Reviews Before Even Calling This Practice I was recently referred over to this practice By someone who's been a patient with them for 15+years I reached out to practice when told they were accepting new patient applications. I Filled out the 10 page packet and submitted it I didn't hear from anyone after a week so I reached out to office. I got a call back from MELISSA and she said they would not be accepting me as a patient. I called back and asked her why and she said......you checked off you use MARIJUANA so that is a reason likely for denial since she said everything else looked correct. SADLY I AM DISABLED and due to my severe ailments I use strictly medical marijuana that I am prescribed and licensed to use, which I wait till I am home for the day before I take. DISCRIMINATION It Makes Me Think That Dr David Arthurs didn't want me as patient since I don't take PILLS & YOU CANT PUSH/PRESCRIBE ME ANY!' DISCRIMINATORY........... avoid this place IF YOU RESPECT YOURSELF Funny as well that MELISSA is bashed a lot in reviews SAD THAT IN THE WORLD WE LIVE IN ITS 2023 To Be DISCRIMINATED against due to being DISABLED!!!! Deplorable Practice & EMPLOYEES"
