"I’ve been coming to this gym on and off the last few years, and overall the experience is satisfactory. Lots of utility with a few different system boards and a standard weightlifting area. Regarding the setting, it’s mostly okay; it feels largely uninspiring, but great for those getting started in the sport. I think my biggest reservation about the gym is how unkempt it is. The pads (ironically enough) are ridiculously dirty. It feels like there’s minimal upkeep for a facility of this size. If I remember correctly, there’s a broom/sweeper stood up in the weight area with a sign that reads something to the effect of “doing your part” to keep the gym clean."
"I've been going to Origin/the pad for about 6 years with my family and grandson and they have always been a family friendly climbing gym but recently I've had two poor experiences with their staff and feel like they have lost that local, community, family friendly atmosphere. For this reason I've canceled my membership and will go elsewhere to bring my family indoor climbing. Too bad for us as we really have enjoyed the gym over the years. Hopefully things will change over time but right now I don't recommend the pad."
"Super sandbaggy climbs, very accurate in terms of v-grading. Climbs get very challenging after V4 and the holds are some of the dirtiest I’ve seen in a really long time (guess it’s kind of trains you for outdoor climbing!). I genuinely enjoyed the sets here. It’s a fairly huge gym and here are some facilities that you may enjoy as a climber: -Kilterboard -Training area -Lead/Bouldering (yes! There are slab walls!) -Ping pong table and a couch -a lot of cubbies where you can sit -Washrooms -Rental shoes and some really nice merch! Losing a star because the staff didn’t give us instructions on how the climb starts (is it matching on the start hold or 4 point contact? Etc.) Just by looking at the climb, it wasn’t too obvious and it took us some time to figure it out."
"Off and on rock climber for past 8+ years and this is the best climbing gym in the Vegas/Henderson area. I mainly boulder, so this gym is more my style. Definitely more bouldering here than top roping or lead climbing, but the spaciousness, cleanliness (in comparison to other gyms in town) and the route setting is the best I have ever experienced for indoor gyms. Also does not have top outs for bouldering like other gyms but not a deal breaker for me. Great place to get out of the heat for the summer while outdoor climbing is in off season. Prices have increased, but prices everywhere has increased (darn inflation). $23 for adult day pass, $200 for a 10-day punch card, $108 for a monthly membership (cheaper if you auto withdraw), and $800 for the annual membership as of this post. Annual membership also let's you get one friend in free per month. Not sure about this one, but also members who bring in first timers (it'll be free day pass for the visitor) [needs verification if that's still a thing]. All and all, great gym, has some weight lifting equipment, cycle machines, treadmills, dedicated slackline section, moon board, ping pong, and other amenities. Come check it out when you're in Vegas/Henderson and see you there. Climb on!"
"Wow This is going to be my favorite rock climbing gym in Las Vegas. Friend of mine told me about it and we decided to check it out together. First impression was:”Wow, it’s so spacious and clean!”. We got greeted right away and stuff at the desk was super sweet and nice. Sam gave as a tour right after we filled out a waver. He took his time to show us around and we were impressed. You can get rentals there as well. They have sanitary stations everywhere. Please take a look at the photos and you will see that this place is more just a climbing gym. We really liked lunch/break room and all the colorful climbing walls. They also have a volunteer on site to help you lead and do a top rope. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much for such a great place to do climbing and just have fun while doing this."
