"A large group of us stopped in the Fields Station to order some food, passing through the area earlier this year and never, ever going back to this business! Be aware of the owner when you walk in, she's got an awful attitude...like you're a problem and you just ruined her day. She obviously knows nothing about customer service. Told us to go back outside to read the menu, which still had the breakfast menu out, when it was actually past lunch time and told us what the gratuity would be up front and how long of a wait for our food would be, while she is totally stressing out and flipping out and know one else was even there! Most of us walked right back out, thinking wow!"

"Had bacon cheeseburgers and their infamous milkshakes. Wow! Hamburgers were huge (maybe 1/2 pound patties). The milkshakes are the best I’ve ever had, and they have a variety of flavors. Very nice lady that helped us, and talked about farming life out there in the middle of nowhere. Their kids travel two hours to Crane for school, and board there during the week, coming home only for the weekends. This is a very remote location, but the food and especially the milkshakes were worth it!!!!!"

"We didn't stay in the little hotel, but we did get some gas and one of their famous milkshakes from the attached store. The folks there couldn't have been nicer and let us park a car for a few nights. Last place to get gas before heading north. Really appreciate the kindness, and the milkshakes :)"

"Stayed here for 5 nights while exploring the area. They had non-ethanol fuel for my old motorcycle the entire time, great food, good selection of beer and liquor considering how remote it is. Everyone’s really friendly. Had a nice conversation with Justin at the diner while he made us food and he helped get my old bike going in the freezing weather."

"Celina and Derek were most welcoming and accommodating.They enjoy people and it shows. Things got busy for them, but they were never curt or rushed. My wife is a birder and they kindly told us about an owl nesting near their home. We stayed in one of the RV spaces and enjoyed two of Derek’s burgers. We also split 2 (!) of their shakes. All were excellent and worth every penny. I’ll add here that my wife and I both enjoy fresh vegetables on our burgers. We have burgers very infrequently (read that as maybe 4 or 5 per year), so we’re always very aware of the overall freshness of the buns, veggies and quality of meat. I’m not sure how they do it but the lettuce, onion, etc were crisp, firm and very fresh. The bun was excellent, as was the beef. We definitely recommend this place!"
