Dollar General

"On 12/19/2023 I had purchased $5.00 worth of items at this store but was fraudulently charged an additional $50.00 at the same time. When the clerk rang up my $5.00 she said the card did not take and to slide it again which I did, it was then when the additional charge of 50.00 appeared on my statement. When I went back to the store to rectify the situation the manager said she could do nothing without a receipt. Of course I did not have the receipt as I did not purchase anything for $50.00. I was totally ripped off."

"This store is convenient for me because its on my way to work, and last time i went during the day and they were friendly, but i went there around 9:30pm with my family because my girlfriend wanted to check out the store, and the cashier was looking at us kind of wierd. We looked around, didnt buy anything, and left the store, but the guy literally walked outside and watched us get into our car, stared for a minute and then walked back inside the store. Maybe i misunderstood the situation, but it seemed like he thought we were stealing and i didnt appreciate that. Just saying..."

"Stocking carts all over blocking aisles. 1 woman trying frantically to shelve while 2 women standing casually talking behind the register our whole visit. What kind of manager ignores this? Usually understaffed with only one polite employee stocking while he is watching register. Other dollar stores in the valley are able to keep up with stocking and cleanliness and proper staffing. Why can't Talent Dollar General?"
