"This place is pretty fancy. More upscale which is what we were looking for. Something to go celebrate a birthday dinner. Which worked out wonderfully. Definitely make a reservation first. Once you get there. It has a beautiful view of the ocean. Getting the attention of the staff on a busy night can be a bit tricky. However, they did a great job once they were involved with the table. The red carpet elevator from the lobby was fun also. Overall, a good experience."

"We had a small family gathering on our wedding day. We booked a small room, which unfortunately had no view. Since the appetizers were amazing, I was so excited about the main course. Well... the quality and cooking skills varied and were inconsistent throughout each plate. Some steaks were asked to be close to well done, but it was bleeding like rare or blue. Lamb was okay. Desserts were okay too, but the service was quite slow - took forever to get a chance to ask to cook that rare steak. I think it would be a good place to visit, but I don't recommend doing your reception or special family gathering here as everyone was disappointed with this expensive dinner which made me very sad."

"While visiting Honolulu Hawaii, hubby and I was searching for a nice steak restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Hubby came across The Signature Prime Steak located on the 36th floor of the Ala Moana Hotel. Our seats were next to a window overlooking the city. It was very great seating! The decor was very festive for the holidays with decorated Christmas trees all around, lights, and garland hanging. The service was highly precise and the food was excellent. We ordered oysters and shrimp cocktails for our appetizers. The taste and quality of the oysters were exceptional for us. The shrimp cocktail was eh, nothing exciting. We all ordered steak with a few sides, and I must say, every bite of our steak was consistently hot from the first to the last. It was the first time every bite of steak was piping hot, which delighted my husband, who really appreciates hot food. My daughter enjoyed herself which was really the most important."

"Good food, fast service, and nice view (could be better if you can get a seat facing the ocean instead of the city). We really liked the live piano music. A bit pricey but worth it for a good dinner experience. The filet mignon was delicious! We got complimentary mashed potatoes which was nice (they were good but not memorable). The chopped salad was well mixed. The creme brûlée’s caramelized top was a bit too thick, but the filling was well done."
