"Very poor communication and delay after delay! Paid the deposit on slab and signed contract in June. Countertop was installed Jan 10th the following year! They promised to compensate for the delays by repairing damaged tiles for free (in October) and then at install denied that they had promised that and left us to find and pay additional tile person. At one point they had the full payment and could not even provide an installation date, and said the slab was not even on island. Not sure how they have remained in business all these years but I do not recommend them."

"I own a restoration company that provides emergency services to the Big Island. We care for our clients and vendors and believe communication is a vital part of a successful relationship and business ethics. I am sad to say that our experience with Davis Tile & Marble was far from positive. Gary started off well and showed up at the job site of our client for the first appointment. After that, the service went downhill. He has yet to provide any updates, nor did he return any calls for several weeks. Shannon did answer a couple of calls and was friendly. Gary never followed up. I finally got an answer from Shannon that Gary does not have the time to take care of us. It took almost a month to get that info. That put us way behind and cost our client and us a lot of wasted time. I do not recommend companies like this that do not care enough about their customers to communicate or follow through."

"The experience I have had with Davis Tile & Marble has been horrific. Davis Tile came to install granite throughout our home, they did not replace the existing sub top in the kitchen which was sagging from the previous install. Therefore the granite and subtop were not at the same level and the subtop was exposed. Also the overhang of the granite for the bar area was not laid level and therefore there was a sag in the granite. It took me 3-4 calls to get them to schedule to come back and fix. And what is worse they admitted that usually a hang over of granite at that distance usually sags, they should have installed brackets to support. After they fixed the sagging by lifting one side of the granite, the seam where two slabs of granite comes together popped and there is a huge height gap between the two pieces. Also the caulking popped around the sink from lifting the granite. I have called three times sent emails with pictures. It took three days from them to respond. A week later and I still have not received a call back to reschedule. This is terrible we have spent a lot of money for an install and it has never been done right. Come fix the issues please."
