"Communication issues with the office... Please read full review. Dr. Zhou has been treating my mother for her breast cancer for past 5 years... We have been very happy with him in that respect. He is very thorough & takes time to answer any questions you may have. The issue I just dealt with was communication within the office. I had called to request a medicine be discontinued immediately as there was a strong possibility that it was affecting my mom's vision. Losing her vision & all was blurry... & steadily getting worse. Four trips to eye doctors & specialists revealed no cause for her deterioration. It took a full week... spoke with two people in the office, and two assurances that it would be handled ASAP. Finally a week later when I found nothing had still happened, I called a third time & strongly demanded immediate action and it was finally done within minutes. My mom is in Assisted Living & they are responsible for dispensing her meds. They cannot stop unless a DC (stop) order is received from the prescribing physician. So that was why it was a major issue for us. Should not have taken a week to get it stopped when "may cause vision problems" is listed as a possible SERIOUS side effect of the drug. Veryfrustrating..."

"My sister is currently undergoing cancer treatment with Dr. Zhou's office and my nieces have been cooperating with his office on many different situations and occurrences through the 2 year process so far. I have entered the situation about 2 1/2 months ago and I have to say they are a friendly staff and very responsive to our needs. Given the sensitivity of the situation for any one family to endure their general bed side manner has been phenomenal and very compassionate. It is greatly appreciated and makes anyone who has to consult with their physician frequently like they are number one on his list. Even though we are still looking at a continued relationship with Dr. Zhou for an undetermined amount of time we would recommend anyone to his office for oncology treatment if they are unfortunate enough to have to endure the process.
