"Since my last review a year ago as of late February early March 2024 I think the establishment has cut Help and doing so there are now very long weights at the pick up window as long as 20 minutes. I see cars back up and leave or park and walk all the way to the front strip entrance since they keep The Rear door locked all the time because they don’t want to post a security to watch for thieves so now customers have to walk all the way around to the front of the store. Also, when you talk to a pharmacist, they say your order will be ready at such and such a time so after a 20 minute wait at the pickup window the girl apologizes because it’s still not ready . So then we decided to have the order delivered. When the order hasn’t showed up after three business days, then the staff tells you that FedEx has not picked up the order yet to be delivered now that’s a bold face lie because FedEx is always on time, it’s their business. Corporate you are loosing many clients to the competition because there are many bad reviews here saying they will never return. Please step up your game! *************************++****This is long overdue but the staff at the pick up window is really very nice and has been helpful to us for a few years now. I just wanted to lift them up because the girls work very hard and they’re very nice especially since it’s kind of a rough neighborhood outside their protective windows where the drive-in is located. Cheers to all of you. Jesus Cara say your prayers be blessed and safe always."
"I've been a loyal customer of Walgreens, particularly the pharmacy at 1101 Las Vegas Boulevard S, for many years. Trusting a pharmacy is not just about convenience; it's about the crucial role they play in our health and wellbeing. Imagine my shock and distress when, on a holiday weekend, I received a cold, impersonal letter informing me of the abrupt closure of this vital location. The letter stated, “Thank you for choosing Walgreens for your pharmacy needs. After careful consideration, we have decided to close your neighborhood Walgreens…” and, almost mockingly, added, “We regret any inconvenience this may cause but hope to make the transition as seamless as possible.” This came as a jarring blow, especially as I am a cancer patient who relies heavily on my medication for my health and survival. The timing couldn't have been worse. On a holiday weekend, when options are limited, I found myself stranded without my essential medication. Despite my years of patronage, I felt completely disregarded, reduced to nothing more than an inconvenience in their corporate eyes. Their promise of a 'seamless transition' felt like a slap in the face, as I scrambled, distressed and unaided, to find an alternative source for my prescriptions. To Walgreens, I was just another number, another faceless customer in their database. The disregard for the impact such a closure could have on someone battling cancer is appalling and inhumane. This isn't just about a store closing; it's about a lifeline being callously cut off without a second thought for the human beings it affects. I am deeply disappointed and hurt by Walgreens’ lack of empathy and support during what is already a challenging time in my life. I write this review not out of spite, but in the hope that it will serve as a wake-up call to Walgreens and other pharmacies to treat their customers with the care and respect they deserve. No one should have to go through what I did, especially when dealing with a serious illness."
"This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy in town, I will be contacting corporate, several complications with my medicine for days of back and forth between doctors and poorly trained staff here. I was fasley accused of previously picking up meds and turns out it wasn't true , they treat everyone like addicts. It's unbelievable how many errors they have made. If you don't like your job get another one.. going to be my last time"
"Lack of a sense of urgency all employees need a stern talking to even possible termination. Completely unacceptable work ethic."
"I just had an extremely unpleasant time at this Walgreens and it is NOT THE FIRST TIME. I've made ends meet during these difficult times by couponing every chance I get and today was no different. I went in, found the product I wanted to buy, and it happened to be on sale. I picked up the only two on the shelf and went to pay. The cashier noticed the items were on sale and that I had a coupon that would make them ALMOST FREE. She proceeded to scan the coupon and it was ACCEPTED by their system. Well that's when the cashier took it upon herself to inform the manager on duty who IMMEDIATELY said my coupon could not be accepted because it would make the products almost free. I argued that MANY MANY times I've had to accept when the system rejects my coupons because they don't meet the necessary criteria for whatever reason. This time it should be fair to say that the system accepted my coupon so I should receive the discount!! He absolutely refused and so I left without my items. This has happened to me before at this location but with a different manager on duty. I don't know what kind of management training this particular Walgreens store has but it's subpar as far as I'm concerned! I won't be returning."
