"Burger was good . . . Not 20 a burger good. People there were polite but inattentive. Tri tip sandwich had chimichurri but tasted more like pesto. For the first time in a long time for me the beer selection was lacking."
"This is the place to go for customized make your own burgers in Pasadena . They also serve various appetizers, sandwiches, chilis and salads. We like to order the 50/50 appetizer with Parmesan fries and sweet potatoes. One can also order a protein over salad greens for a healthier meal. Love the mahi mahi salad and strawberry milkshake!"
"Great place to build your own special hamburgers. Nice inside, I enjoyed sitting at the counter. It was a cold night, so had a nice cup of chili. Loved the flavor. I also enjoyed the grilled cheese with bacon. Nice selection of sides and appetizers. The last time I was here, I enjoyed building my own hamburger. Looked wonderful and tasted delicious. The staff was attentive and nice. They have an outside patio, which is nice, when the weather is warm. Great place to meet friends for a beer and a burger. Parking is available in this structure above the restaurant."
"Really enjoyed The Counter. I had the build your own burger. Had a 1Lbs all beef burger w/ bacon on a Hawaiian roll bun. Not to mention numerous toppings. Good good good. Note: almost too much to eat. Went mid day on a Tuesday the place was empty. The family enjoyed as well."
