Reviews
"I’ve been wanting to try this place out. My friend and I went for their lunch buffet. Located on the second floor, with a parking lot right behind (I found out after). It’s an affordable $20 for the buffet at the time of this review. The fruit chutney was a pleasant surprise and you have an option between plain and garlic naan. The rice was old and dry, but the two dishes that stood out to me were the butter chicken and saag paneer (spinach and cheese curds). The view of Colorado Blvd from the window seats was nice. The bathroom was a bit of a turn off for me, but nature called. I would definitely go again if given the opportunity."
"New Delhi Palace is our new go to sit down white tablecloth Indian restaurant! This unassuming location really brings top quality in food, service and atmosphere. We needed to find a place with great vegetarian options. It caught my eye when searching that the description of this place on Google Maps is "Vegetarian-friendly restaurant serving Indian mainstays in a no-frills setting." My wife ordered the Vegetable Korma and I had the Coconut Chicken Masala. We shared an order of Basmati Rice and a Garlic Naan. It was so good! As I embraced my moment of food joy my thoughts drifted back to our old favorite Indian restaurant in Seattle. The food and atmosphere so similar that it felt a bit like coming home. We will definitely be going back. So, if you are craving Indian food I highly recommend that you give this place a try."
"I really wanted to give this 4 stars because the service was so good! Unfortunately, the food did not warrant that. We had malai kofta and paneer kadahi, both of which tasted very similar. Not as flavourful as we expected. The rice was a bit hard and we ordered a paratha was not flaky like expected. The garlic naan tasted fresh, I think it could have used a little more butter, but it had a nice crispiness to it. We ordered samosa chaat had the sweet and tangy flavours but the samosas were disappointingly mushy; we were expecting crispy samosas. Their mint and tamarind chutneys tasted great, they complimented each other very well! I actually liked their food more than my husband did. He said he would not come back unless he absolutely had to. I would give it another go and try some of their different dishes, maybe some meat dishes. Again, their service is amazing! No complaints there!"
"Food was delicious. The chicken masala curry is to die for. Servers were very attentive. They have street parking and also a small parking lot in the back. Went on a Sunday night and it was not busy at all. Highly recommend."
"Their food was so good! Garlic Naan was so garlicky and crispy with abundant cilantro. Samosa was good and even the dough was seasoned well (personally the potato filling could’ve had even more spices, but still tasted good). Chicken Tikka Masala had lots of chicken and the portion was pretty big. It wasn’t overly creamy or rich like in some other places, and it was really flavorful. The Tandoori Eggplant was also pretty big in portion and tasted so good with mashed eggplant texture. The pricing was a bit higher than what I’m used to, but the portions seemed to make up for it (except for the Naan). The service was good and the food came out reasonably fast (got there before 6pm). There’re huge windows facing the mountains, so it feels open and nice for people watching :) The women’s bathroom was clean but the door was so stiff and kept getting stuck that it only left a narrow space to get in and out. Just one reservation for going back to this place was, the cost didn’t add up. The breakdown invoice was hand-written and hard to read, so I looked up the price on their website after we left. We were charged $2.11 more than what I saw on their website including taxes. I tried “ordering online” just to see the total cost, and still showed the same amount of discrepancy. Not sure if this was like a Covid-19 service charge? If it was, I get it but it should’ve been disclosed. The handwritten breakdown had four items and we didn’t see any extra item/charge on it. All in all, the food was so satisfying, but the lack of price transparency leaves bitter taste in my mouth. May be just double check the breakdown before you pay."
