"This was our first time building a bear. The associate was BEYOND amazing!! I was completely surprised at how amazing he was with kids. He made it such a magical experience!!"
"I went in as Rain and made the cutest Kuromi with the nicest ladies at the front yesterday Monday 11.06.23 I really wish I got her name she was amazing! On my way out I stopped at Spencer's and set my box down for one second and someone stole the whole box with my kuromi I made. I was so devastated but the working manager on site gave me a customer service number to call and they are going to replace my baby! Thank you guys so much I couldn't be more thankful"
"Brought my 4 year old daughter here yesterday for her first time. She was so excited to make a Paw Patrol build a bear. The experience was not what we had hoped for. The lady who greeted us was kind and bubbly..had a great personality. By the time my daughter chose her animal, we had a different employee who came over to help us. She had 0 personality. I told her my daughter had never been to build a bear before, but she continued talking to my 4 year old like she should know what to do in the store instead of showing her around and instructing her on the steps. She didn’t smile once, had no enthusiasm at all. I feel sad for my daughter. I tried to make her experience exciting from my end, but it was a total weird and blah vibe from the employee. I didn’t get her name, but she had long dark hair, fake long lashes, and long fake nails. Not worth the $50"
"Clean, employees are very engaging and helpful. We had to order items that were out of stock in stores and they were able to find the items for us plus save us a little bit of money as well. I’m very grateful for the amazing team here who makes their customers feel welcome."
"I really like the concept of Build A Bear. It really is a lot of fun. BUT.....my daughter's 11 dollar Birthday bear turned in to a $70 adventure. Then she sees a Jack Skellington. So he was additional cost, which I knew would be the case. But walking out with $150 worth of bears in their basic clothing is a bit much. I get it. I really do. They have to make their money. But throw a bone every now and then for the ones that spend the money. The ones that wait in the lines, etc. Like, you know....loyalty points or something. We can't go there often, because of the cost. And I really hate saying "no" to almost everything my daughter wants. The staff is great (they seemed to enjoy their jobs) and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Will of course go again. Just have to remember to bring an extra paycheck!"
