"We went to the buffet during covid and it was good. We went 3-19-24 and Golden corral came to mind. We had a party of 7 and all 7 of us landed up sick, egg burps and farts, stomach ache. The selections was just awful. Minimal salad selections for those of us who can't have most the foods on the regular food bar. They had Mexican, Italian, seafood, Asian food with a create your own stir fry, a number of soups and a area they had left overs from the prior day plus a carving station. The desert area is decent but made me sad watching people grab 12 deserts piling them in their arms and dropping them along the way to their tables. Such a waste of food. May be having people grab a big plate and load some treats instead of 12 tiny plates. I get this is a discounted buffet. But the part where Clark Griswold goes to the buffet with cousin Eddie comes to mind."

"We were not guests so I cannot review the room but the property was clean overall. We came here to try the Buffet. For 30 bucks it wasn't bad. Good selection, definitely misleading reviews about the sushi. It was good but barely anything. Just 3 different rolls. The prime rib was as good as advertised. Decent deserts. Its definitely not the Buffet at the Wynn but its also not 75 pp. If value and selection is was you're looking for then this buffet is your friend."

"Beautiful property. Lots of restaurant options however, reservations are pretty much needed to eat in them. Quick drive to strip but no shuttle service to the strip. No early shuttle to the airport for flights leaving before 7am. Rooms are very spacious. Beds are comfortable. If you are looking for a nice resort style stay this is the perfect option."

"First time here and WOW! We will be back. Clean rooms, superior staff, good food, and lots of entertainment! With everything on site no need to leave. No big crowds like the strip, no flyer pushers and no dirt. Thanks for the wonderful week. Oh yeah, and they host bingo tournaments! Must do ;-)"

"First time staying here and had a great time. South Point is so big, you don't ever have to leave. Everything is here. 11 restaurants, bowling alley, theater, equestrian center (got to see some bull riding), hair salon (THANK YOU Julia for my haircut and style-LOVE IT!!!), salon and tons of games. Everyone was so nice and the hotel is so clean. Definitely will stay again!!!"
