Kate Lowe - State Farm Insurance Agent

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! I was referred to Kate Lowe by my wife's former State Farm agent in California to get a comparison quote for car insurance. I called Kate Lowe's office and spoke to Diana. She took all of our current policy info and said Jeffery would send me a quote. We live 30 minutes from the office but went because they beat our current policy by over $200 a month per 6 months. After we sat down with Jeffrey, he claimed the quote went up from $189 to $223 a month! Total bait and switch! I caught him red-handed! Do not do business with these people!"

"I did get cheaper insurance when I switched to this agent, but I guess you get what you pay for. I needed to check on the status of my unowned vehicle coverage, to make sure that it was still part of my policy, and to add it again if not. I called at 4:55 PM on Friday. I was automatically sent to State Farms national call center, because I "was calling after hours". The problem is the agency is supposed to be open until 5:00 PM. I was told by the automated system that hold time was over an hour, and that I could opt to be in que for a call back. So that is what I did. They called me back eleven hours later, at 4:13 AM! I explained to the person calling that it was not only eleven hours later, but 4:15 in the morning, when she was calling me, and that she had woken me up. The woman said "okay, how can I help you then". I told her what I needed, and she said that my agent would have to help me with that, because she could not. This is not the first bad service I have received, I have tried going into the office several times only to be told that I must make an appointment to walk in during business hours! Service absolutely sucks from Kate Lowe and from State Farm. My days of recommending them are over, my old five star review is now a one star review, and I am reaching out to other insurance companies today, as our renewal is in one week."
