Residence Inn by Marriott Reno Sparks 300 Legends Bay Drive, Sparks, NV 89434

"Located downtown, but somehow still quiet and restful. This hotel has everything but a casino, which is perfect for us. The lobby is filled with local art and displays. There is even a gallery with artwork you can purchase. Every single staff member was warm and welcoming. Mel, who was working the valet area was knowledgeable and helpful. The room was thoughtfully decorated and huge for a hotel room. There were plenty of towels, Aveda products in the shower, and well made, modern sofa. The room was dark and quiet when it came to sleep. In the restaurant, I wish I could remember our server’s name, because she was also excellent. She knew the menu in detail and she was well versed in their craft cocktail menu. With her help we were able to select items we loved. My hubby is something of a gnocchi snob and he was delighted with gnocchi he ordered. I was craving a burger and they had a gluten free bun option. It was delish! The burger was done to my liking (medium rare) and the gf bun wasn’t dry and didn’t fall apart-both unusual for gf bread. Speaking of bread, they offer a sour dough bread with a variety of spreads. I know I shouldn’t eat it, but I couldn’t resist. It was soft with a chewy crust, just the way we all like it. I can’t say enough good things about this particular Marriott property. Absolutely top notch."

"Stay here just to be spoiled by Alex! He is extremely professional and has made sure I received packages mailed in advance for work, printed a return label and helped me with packaging outgoing work correspondence. It’s like having a personal concierge and he always has a smile! I hope he receives the recognition he deserves. Additionally the rooms are spacious, clean and fully stocked with a beautiful view with nearby (easy walking distance) shopping, tons of restaurants and a casino."

"Worst hotel experience of my life!!! Do NOT stay here at all. The staff are extremely rude and harassed me and my disabled child. They never fixed the internet, there are several things that do not work in the room, and they refused to fix anything and told me so rudely. They also made several unauthorized charges on my card and refused to fix it. Save your money and go anywhere else."

"Well located next to a lot of stores, restaurants, and across from Legends casino, the Residence Inn still has that “new hotel” feel. Rooms are clean and modern, with a full kitchenette: stove, microwave, fridge, dining table, toaster, and kitchenware that gives it all the conveniences of home. Good breakfast and great view and walk along the picturesque lake."

"The room was clean and organized. Heating and cooling worked as expected. USB ports everywhere in the room. The bed was not as comfortable as other hotels where I had stayed, but it was good for the stay."
