"This is by far the worst health insurance I have ever had. When you need to be seen by a doctor, the first appointment is five months out. You also cannot access TeleMed if you haven’t been seen by a doctor previously. If you need to get into a doctor quickly but it’s not an emergency, there is absolutely no way to do so. Every appointment needs to be a quick care appointment. There are only two quick cares in Nevada with limited hours from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can imagine how full they are and the hours you have to wait to be seen since there are only two locations and since people can’t see a doctor for many months and are forced to go to the quick care if you don’t catch the quick care hours and you must be seen after 7 PM then you need to go to the emergency care which is $1200. In addition , all of my medications have increased in price. One went up to $900 a month and the other went up to $125 a month. The people on the phone try to be nice to you, but their hands are tied. While there’s an app you can use, it actually doesn’t show the correct available doctors on the Select Health plan. There are doctors there for other plans. You have to make a doctors appointment through their answering service which is when you find out that the first appointments are five months out. The month is now March. Luckily, I haven’t been sick and needed to see anyone until now, but if my first appointment is in September, that means I will have not been able to use my insurance for nine full months and have been paying premiums for nothing. I have never had an experience like this with any insurance I’ve ever had and I am almost 60 years old. Do not choose this insurance. If you think you will be needing to see a doctor within the first five months of getting this insurance. I have spent hours on the phone this morning trying to make a sooner appointment and that absolutely is not happening. Do not, I repeat, do not get this insurance!! You will not be happy!!!!"

"We got this insurance on January and the first available doctor we could see is in September. More than 9 month after the start of the insurance. We tried to tell them that this is emergency, but again there are no available doctors until September. The biggest scam ever!! Do not take this insurance"

"My mother signed up for their insurance based on the List of Providers available. ALL the providers she wanted were not accepting new patients even though their provider list said they were. When we called, a small list of possible providers was given, some we called were not accepting new patients. We spent a lot of time calling and trying to find a provider. This is NOT 5 star service, in fact it is a bit deceiving."
