"Such a wonderful experience! To be honest I was not expecting this to be fully worth the price tag and I was proven 100% wrong. My expectations were exceeded above and beyond. Pauly was an amazing guide and the hike was SO much fun. He was super supportive of our beginner snowshoeing status and took plenty of breaks without anyone having to ask — I never felt self conscious about being a slow hiker or anything, he was so encouraging and universally wonderful to everyone! I loved learning about the different kinds of coniferous trees and environments in Tahoe. It was more than just trooping through the forest, he made it fun and interactive and I will now never forget that white fir needles smell like lemon and Jeffrey pine bark smells like butterscotch and cookies. We made it all the way to the top and the view was spectacular. The whole thing took about 2.5-3 hours and I felt like I’d had a great hike, seen some stunning landscapes, learned about the beautiful environment I was experiencing, and had been having a genuinely great vibe the entire time. If you’re thinking about booking with Snowshoe Tahoe, do it!! It’s so worthwhile. Also Pauly’s Mom Betty is so nice!!"
