"My vet of many years left her practice unexpectedly and I was in the position of having to search for another veterinarian that I could trust as my 8-year-old fur baby was scheduled for quite an extensive dental surgery when she left. Needless to say my anxiety was already through the roof and now having to look for a new veterinarian only added to my stress. I Googled top Veterinarian Dental Care in Las Vegas and Sahara Pines kept topping the list every time. I called to schedule a consultation. Right off the top the office staff was more than accommodating they were kind reassuring and they got me an appointment right away without having to wait for weeks. Our appointment was with Dr Goodman and can I just say he was incredible from the very start he did agree with the immediate need for the dental surgery he talked to me about it repeatedly asked what questions I had gave me a estimate of what I would be expecting and costs but mostly he took the time to calm my anxieties and reassure that my baby was on good hands. The day of his surgery I cannot tell you how wonderful Dr Goodman was he once again talk to me through my anxiety reassuring me of each step of the way what would happen. He notified me immediately when my baby was going into surgery he called me halfway through the surgery to let me know that he was doing great and then he called me immediately when the surgery was over. For days after his surgery he checked in with me several times by phone or by text to make sure that my baby was doing well. I cannot say that I have ever experienced this with any veterinarian ever. His kindness and compassion shines through not only in his words but his actions! Each time that I have dealt with the office staff they are more than incredible, professional and kind! Did I mention that this office is on the other side of town from me but I would literally drive to another state to get the quality care that my baby received from Sarah Pines and Dr Goodman!"

"We had recently relocated from out of state and were in search for a new veterinarian. Dr Goodman at Sahara Pines Animal Hospital was recommended. I reached out and was able to get an appointment fairly quickly which was helpful as we were running low on a needed medication. Dr Goodman and the team were very kind and compassionate towards our “girls” and us as well. Our Huskies have very different personalities one is very nervous and skittish and the other gives the “side eye” and no tail wags. Dr. Goodman and the team were very comfortable with both. Our visit was not rushed and was thorough being as there was some history to tell. Dr Goodmans suggestion after assessing one of the girls was to make a medication change due to her blood pressure being high. (Something that had never been noted in the few years on her previous medication). Since the medication change she has gained years back on her personality. She’s no longer sluggish. We greatly appreciate Dr Goodman and the rest of the team at Sierra Pines Animal Hospital."

"Dr. Goodman is the best!! In October my baby began having seizures. Dr. Goodman was so empathetic and took the time to educate me on my options. I’ve had many pets, but never any that had seizures. I was beyond distraught. I am SO thankful for Dr. Goodman, he truly cares about each animal as if it was his own. It is very evident that treating animals is his passion! Billy is doing great!!"

"Dr. Caley Smith is absolutely incredible. From the day I got Whiskey up until her surgery two days ago, Dr Smith has been a constant source of knowledge, warmth, and encouragement. She will be Whiskey's doctor for as long as I live in Las Vegas. There is truly no one better and no one that I trust more with my girl's care. Outside of the price for services(let's be honest, pricing for animal care is out of control), this is without question the only place I will take my dog for any major issues. Dr. Smith truly stands head and shoulders above any veterinarian I have ever worked with, past or present. She is absolutely incredible and, best of all, Whiskey adores her."
