"Absolutely the worse haircut I have ever received. The elder woman asked me four times "is it ok?" to which I had to point out "no, please fix this" and "please fix that" until I just had to get out of the chair and head to another barber to repair the damage. ZERO stars!!"
"Efficient! Price is very reasonable, as off-post cost is closer to 50% more."
"Just so you know, this isn't a government run, AAFES Barber shop; it's a vendor, and the prices show. I just visited and saw the prices are $20! Yes, it's cheaper than off-base, but still, on a military base it should be around $10-$12; it's only $12 on Camp Smith, and I think Ford Island is similar. Anyway, I was here, so I sucked it up and waited in line. There was only one worker, and four people ahead of me. Oddly enough, the woman was very fast, about five minutes per person, if you can believe it. I don't know if that's good or bad, but that's pretty good money at $20 per haircut. Most of the military get simple cuts, so $20 is ridiculous. I felt like I was in basic training, getting the inductee buzz cut, she was going so fast."
"Appalling business hours, even pre-COVID. For so many soldiers this is the only place they can go to get a haircut. The hours force these soldiers to get haircuts exclusively during “business hours” which directly contributes to reduced mission readiness. Please consider altering your hours to align with the hours of the PX, or at least closing at the same time."
"Asked for a medium skin fade and received a low and not even skin faded. She skipped around and spent less than 10min on my hair and now there's just patches of long and short hair that needs to be fixed. I understand they work for tips but come on, the shop was empty so it's not like she should've been in a rush. This place needs to some training."
