"Good izakaya! Lively atmosphere with tons of Carps merch and memorabilia on the wall. Service is pretty fast and attentive. We tried the gyoza, fries, karaage chicken, skewer set, tempura set, and okonomiyaki. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go again, especially for the karaage and skewers. A bit pricy, but not more so than the typical izakaya in Honolulu."

"Delicious very authentic yakitori - hard to find something like this outside Japan. And great prices. I'll be coming here in every trip to Honolulu. A little off the beaten track, but a pleasant walk along the canal from downtown."

"Hidden Gem for sure! Please go there and try it out yourself. So many items to choose from. Had the tendon beef and omelette. Both wonderfully cooked 9/10. So good so delicious. You can feel the Japanese air flowing through the restaurant. Prices are affordable and reasonable. Servers are nice and attentive. So far is the Japanese restaurant compared to all other Japanese restaurant throughout the states. Would love to come back there as many times as much as possible before the vacation end."

"overall good for waikiki / i thought each yakitori is served individually but served as one dish - likely for 3-4 person group . other dishes are fine. will return for needing yakitori taste and missing certain taste - my flavor and experiences are different for yakitori do try and enjoy the choices"

"If you love izakaya you'll be charmed by this place as if you just stepped in an izakaya in Japan. The decor is Japanese baseball themed and there are a lot of pupus to order. Unfortunately for me many of the menu is meat based so I had limited options but meat lovers will have a good time."
