"After going through the reviews, I found that only Mele is a good hair stylist at this location. So, once she did my hair cut and I liked it. But second time I was very very disappointed and unhappy with the service and hair cut, because I made an appointment 1 day well in advance with Mele. But when I reached the Salon well before time early in the morning, the lady in the salon asked me and I told her that I have an appointment with Mele, then she told me that Mele is not here. So, I told the lady ok I will wait for her, then after 2-3 mintues the lady said that she is not sure whether Mele is coming today or not. I told her that I had an appointment with her, then she called Mele and confirmed from her that Mele is not coming as she got some health issue. I felt very unhappy, because I made an appointment 1 day in advance and especially came to the salon for my hair cut on that day. So, I thought to have hair cut and then leave, and I asked the lady if she can give me a hair cut. She agreed, but she did it very unwillingly. I told her what I want for my hair, but she said that whatever Mele has done last time to my hair is the best and she cannot do anything else other than that. And she just took only 5 mins to complete all her job on my hair. And when I made the payment of $29.32 for the worthless job, she also wanted me to add tip on top of that, and when I made the payment without adding any tip, she looked at me as if I have done any sin by not adding any tip. I was very very disappointed by the whole thing which happened to me on that day early in the morning. By this I feel that the Supercuts are not at all professional in their work."
"I realize Supercuts isn't a $100 haircut and I wasn't expecting the champagne treatment. I WAS expecting a quick cut with no drama. Even with those expectations, this was a bad experience. I asked for a simple trim. She got very demanding that I commit to a guard size. I chose #2 and agreed to her demand, but I told her that it can vary stylist to stylist so I can't give her some absolute commitment. It depends on what she does and I didn't want to micromanage her, I just needed a trim. She continually complained that I 'need to know' what guard size. It was incredibly rude and she just wouldn't let it go despite me having met her demands and chosen #2. She explicitly told me that 'I need to hold my glasses' to check her work, which I did several times. Since commanded to do so, I told her my thoughts(eg; it's still kind of bunchy 'here'), which she rudely snapped back about in each case. The problem with her whole approach, stylists often blend with multiple guard sizes, look at the hair of their client and make decisions. Results vary by stylist. We are supposed to talk during the haircut. It's not so simple as cornering a person into a single guard size and going home. It can be a conversation. She did not want to do what I wanted, nor manage it herself, nor have a conversation about it. Anyway, I tried to hope for the best. I hoped she would remain professional despite the verbal rudness and just give me a basic trim. When it came to my sideburns, she asked how much, so I asked for halfway up my ear. She went way aggressive with that. Too short, plus uneven. When I complained, the lady ended up threatening me with something about the cameras and once again angrily mentioned the guard number(which has nothing to do with sideburn height). She became irate. I told her she needed to be nicer to her customers. Her anger was out of control, disproportionate and clearly nothing to do with me. Plus, doesn't she want to know what people actually think? Am I supposed to lie? Sideburns are not a big deal. Hair grows back and I understand people sometimes have bad days. But it was not appropriate behavior or a smart way to treat a customer."
"Mele is a great hairstylist! I've gone to her twice for maintenance/layering and she is very kind and considerate :) Would definitely recommend checking out this location with her services. I also noticed that all the employees appear to work together very well with one another (i.e. passing each other needed tools, cleaning up in cycles, etc..) which was nice."
"Showed up at quarter to closing. I have a simple haircut. My regular barber is done within ten minutes. Their shop was entirely empty. 2 employees just standing there talking story. They tell me they are closed, that they can't cut my hair in that time. 1 star. Hope the owner finds out they are turning away paying customers so they can gossip instead of work."
"The staff is very nice, but I am a senior and went in to get just my bangs cut. I already have bangs they were just getting to long. It took the woman about 5 minutes. My problem is this cost me $20 and change. I will never go again. I never asked price before cut that is my fault but wanted to let everyone know."
