"I recently had the pleasure of having my hair done by Mrs. Carmen for my upcoming birthday. It is rare when you go to a salon and make an appointment that the stylist honors that agreement made. She was on time and waiting for me which felt lovely. Part of her charm is the fact that she does not allow phones in her chair. “If she can’t use her phone, you won’t!”. Not only did that rule take me back to my mother’s kitchen in the 90s watching all my Aunties getting their hair done; however, it also left room for her to get to know me and help me decide my hair needs fully. Most important part of the review is the price! Living in Hawaii is so expensive sometimes and not only did I pay fair big island prices, I left looking amazing with tips to maintain until my next visit."
