"Nice restaurant if you're looking for small bites. We opted for ordering multiple small plates and sharing. Food came out quickly and hot. We loved the spacious indoor seating plus service was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our dining experience. Bacon wrap dates-sweet, loved it so much we ordered it instead of dessert. Empanada- 1 per order... flavorful beef Crocquetas de jamon- delicious... Pan con tomate-tasted so fresh Shrimp ajillo-tasty, and the bread that came with it was so light and crispy We would definitely return if we were in the area."
"Seriously, that good. From the spacious and classy and welcoming interior, to the professional and cordial service, to the delicious pinxtos and tapas and beverages, our dining experience was stellar. The bacon-wrapped dates filled with blue cheese were plump and tender, and the seasonal (Thanksgiving) special turkey empanada in its lightly deep-fried crunchy crust had a savoury and mild, while layered, taste, especially when enjoyed with the bright chimichurri sauce. The boquerones y guindilla (vinegar-pickled anchovies, olives & mild chillis) had a fun acidity, but the choicepf olives was disappointing — typical canned type. We particularly liked the smooth chicken liver pâté with the delicious, chewy and tender miniature baguette, and the octopus alla gallega with the enticing, aroma of smoked paprika, served on sliced pan-fried patatas. It was interesting and enticing how the different wines paired beautifully with each of the foods — the by-the-glass LoPetito de Pascona (Montsant, Spain) complemented the chicken liver pâté, and the CVNE Crianza (Rioja) elevated the octopus to a higher savouriness. We also enjoyed a pleasant rosé Cava wine and a smooth Sapporo draught beer. Service was attentive and kind, and able to answer various questions. The atmosphere was a bit loud as different parties came and left, with the upbeat tempo of Spanish melodies serving as, at times, slightly overwhelming background. Overall, I would definitely return, and recommend this. And I’m local."
"The place is nice. The service was ok. The food was Luke warm. All of it. The full dinner item Paella was very minimal (very thin layer)on the paella plate. They should have just mentioned it to be a tapas as well instead of a full dinner item. That as well was just warm. My take away was I think they need to decide if it’s going to be Spanish Tapas or Fusion Japanese Spanish, because I couldn’t tell."
"Lively or noisy atmosphere - it depends on how you want the evening to be. Good place for group but it may not be suitable for couples who expect intimate conversation as you may need to speak loud to hear each other. Lol Very friendly and good service deserves five stars Tapas style Food was good. We ordered pretty much everything in the menu. Maybe we expected more because of the hype we’ve been hearing about the restaurant. The ingredients they used in the menu such as octopus maybe unique to Honolulu."
"We had a really good anniversary dinner with mixed results. First...our server was outstanding and reserved a great tip. Lawrence (?) really made our evening special. Dishes (table of 4) --Bacon wrap dates: 10/10 --Bunuelos (butterfish fritters): 10/10 --Shrimp Ajillo: 5/10. This was a miss --Octopus ala Gallega: 5/10. Flavor was good but texture was chewy --Arugula & beet salad: 4/10. This was disappointing as well. Salad was underdressed and messy --Loco Pollo Paella: mixed review around the table but consensus was 6/10. Both desserts (Ube cheesecake and Mont Blanc) were solid. Atmosphere was TOO LOUD and high ceilings really distracted from the conversations at our corner table"
