"Second time visiting, and vow never to miss it on future visits to the Big Island. Tonight, we all thoroughly enjoyed our steak, pasta dish and Kohala salad with shrimp - not to mention delicious starters, the chicken pot stickers, calamari, lili koi margarita and cheesecakes. Plus the service and ambiance were everything we were looking for, and we especially love the charming owner."

"Bamboo Restaurant & Gallery is a decent place to grab a bite if you're passing by. We got the Thai coconut with soba and ahi (the coconut sause was good, but the soba was bland and underwhelming. I'd recommend getting the rice instead) and the teriyaki stir-fry with shrimp (same issue with the soba, but the shrimp was good). We also got the lilikoi iced tea, which doesn't taste strongly of lilikoi. The staff was nice and the restaurant is cute, but for me, while the atmosphere is tourist focus, it's still better than the food."
