"Stayed down the street, but was told to stop by for a drink and man are we glad we did! The views and drinks were amazing, but the best part was our bartender, Justice. He is knowledgeable on everything the bar offers and is willing to take the time to really ensure he is making the drink that fits what you’re looking for. He also is willing to take the time to answer any questions you have about the island, which is a perk as he was born and raised. His customer service is amazing and he does it all with a smile on his face and a legitimate care for you. Thanks Justice!"

"This place is a complete joke. Don’t go here if you are expecting fine dining or even decent food. Definitely the the worst meal we had in Kauai. The burger was not Wagu. Just a frozen Pattie. They also used plastic craft cheese. Definitely not locally sourced like they claim. We ended up not even eating our burgers after sending back once. They then sent my wife out a loaf of bread because they didn’t want us to go home hungry. Lol. Save yourself the disappointment. The local food trucks are a much better option."

"Thankful that we got an RSVP. We showed up an hour early but they were able to sit us within 10 minutes. They also allowed us to hang out on the lanai and checked out a few views. We started with the grilled shrimp as an appetizer, it was absolutely yum! I said the best grilled shrimp I had on Kauai during my 10 days stay. We ordered the red snapper and island chicken for dinner. The red snapper was so good. I would order it again. It came with blended cauliflower and a lettuce wedge. The chicken is not something I would recommend and it’s what made me rate this place very low. The chicken was very dry and not a lot of flavor. I liked the wilted greens it came with. I had the just pina no colada (zero proof) for my drink. It was very refreshing and not too sweet. We finished with the POG panna cotta. Stay away! Nothing authentic about that dessert. It came with processed toppings. I was expecting fresh fruit and it was literally bites of syrup and very sweet cream. We only had one bite and told our server that it was not good. She was able to take it off our tab. The bathrooms smelled amazing with a lot of touchless features. Overall, the atmosphere is gorgeous but stay away from the chicken."

"Admittedly, this is a restaurant with one of the world’s best views on the planet. I have been coming to this magnificent island since the early 1980’s and visited this property many times. I love 1 Kitchen’s cool design. The daily breakfast buffet and ala carte menu items are a real treat! This restaurant and the entire magical property are an unforgettable experience for all of one’s senses!"

"We've dropped by twice – lunch was alright, nothing fancy in terms of food and service. The ceviche had no flavor at all!!! And the tuna bowl is too sweet. I mean it. But let me tell you, dinner was a game-changer! The food was a delight, and the service was top-notch. Usually places that take shortcuts on lunch because they offer cheaper lunch price menu, but the lunch here isn't any cheaper, and I can't help but wonder why don’t offer same quality of food and services, and why you get paper napkins during lunchtime. Besides that, view is awesome, definitely recommend."
