"Lineage is my #1 favorite place to eat in Maui. I have to eat here every time we visit. I’m vegan! But the menu is not all vegan, they just offer tons of vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. Sometimes they take walk ups but we’ve always made reservations, which I highly recommend doing. The folks who work there are very kind and attentive, and the whole thing feels like a family hang. I wouldn’t call it a “fancy” place, but the food is definitely high class, kinda pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Must haves: Spicy garlic noodles - watch out though, they’re pretty spicy. You can get the spice in the side if you’re wary. Mushroom salad - vegan by default, my whole family loved it (even those who don’t really like mushrooms) Crispy cauliflower - this dish is vegan by default, and has changed a little in the years we’ve come but is always SO good. This last visit tasted like khao soi turned into a cauliflower dish and I loved it (lots of curry flavors) Tapioca pudding - light coconut tapioca base with mango topping bursting with flavor The first time we went, we were sat inside next to a VERY rowdy and loud group. The staff tried to get them under control and were very apologetic. I prefer to sit outside (since it’s always a pretty comfortable temp), but we sat inside this most recent time and had a very pleasant experience. There was a birthday at a table near by and the whole room (it’s pretty small) sang along. (Our server Tiana was the best.) Love this place! Support them! Give them your business!"
"I reserved this spot for dinner about 10 days prior. The only available seating was at the bar for 2. We scored with our host/server/bartender Destiny who had the patience and knowledge to answer all of our questions about the wines, cocktails+food @Lineage and beyond, like Maui life (best place for beginner surfing). We loved our Aji Tamago starter and the pan-fried fish of the day and broccolini side. We closed the night with the pandan bread pudding. All around the drinks and food were artistically presented and served by a friendly restaurant crew. The food was a solid 5-star."
"WOW! Incredible meal and experience. The eggs starter is a MUST. The truffle explosion in your mouth is next level. Seriously, order these. Also highly recommend the garlic noodles. The half chicken is solid but HUGE. Too big for 2 people if you are ordering other dishes. Really can’t miss here. Worth the visit and price tag."
"Excellent fusion food with an ever-changing menu. Service was fast and friendly, and food and drinks were delicious. Stand out dish this visit was the Cantonese Lobster Noodles. Try Da Musubi Man cocktail, served in a Spam tin :)"
"It’s a popular restaurant for sure. The staff provides excellent service. Enjoyed the spirit-forward cocktails with Chicarones. Underwhelmed with the Beef tenderloin chopped steak & Scallops “Lúc Lăc” which had the very small, not local scallops. No wow. However, get the pan-roasted Fish from Local Waters instead…which was phenomenal. Tried the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Moon Cake. Definitely not sweet filling, with a very light chocolate & macadamia flavor. The rum caramel & crust were the main tastes here. Overall a good choice for Wailea dining."
