"Went to eat lunch here. Ordered a won ton soup. As I was eating I noticed a bug in my soup. I took it out and noticed another. Then another. I took a better look in my soup and noticed countless bugs in my soup! I informed one of my co-workers and found out that she also had a similar experience with this restaurant from possibly not washing produce. The workers here were nice and apologized and offered a refund. I’m just disgusted at the amount of bugs that were in my soup."
"For me Ba-Le is one of those restaurants where I have a set favorite & order the same thing every time. My go to order is always the tofu pho with veggie broth & a Thai iced tea. Fun fact: their Thai tea has a rich tasty flavor & is one of my favorite go-to restaurants to get my Thai tea fix."
"A rare spot in Maui for Vietnamese food! They offer a wide menu of noodles, rice, and sandwiches. The Vietnamese fish sauce base dipping sauce is good for rice based plate lunches. The fish was a bit too dry.. but the shrimp was good. The pho was literally the only pho I've tried on Maui. They only have a few types of toppings probably because less demand for other Vietnamese toppings like tendon, tripe, beef balls etc. The rare beef was tender enough. Ba-Le is a well known chain in the rest of the world."
"Wide selection of meals, we tried fried rice with shrimp and spam and fried and minced pork with rice and salad and we both really enjoyed it. There's plenty of parking spots, enough outside seating with shade and the food comes out pretty quick. You can grab coffee and desserts across the street."
"Good food, great price, huge portions, lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The person taking orders was so very nice! So genuine and friendly, it made my day better! (Receipt said name was Prinsess) Ordered some of my favorites, green papaya salad with avocado and tofu vegetable crispy fried egg noodles, it was really good as always! They are really fast, delivery available, take out, or there are some outside tables."
