"Recently, we had the pleasure of dining at Niu Life Kitchen in Wailuku, where we indulged in their delectable plant-based fare. Our taste buds were treated to the incredible flavors of their falafel plate, which was a generous portion served on a bed of fresh greens. The homemade bread, generously seasoned with zaatar, was a delightful accompaniment. The falafel itself was bursting with green and fresh ingredients and the plate packed with a variety of plant-based goodies that made each bite a true delight. Chef Shaanan's culinary skills never fail to impress, and his warm hospitality added to the overall wonderful experience. Let's not forget to mention the raw chocolates, which were simply the best we've ever had! As well as fresh baked sourdough Zaatar flatbread made with Taro that he grows on his farm…YUM Please note that I was born in Israel and I have Spanish, Morrocan, and Tunisian blood running through my veins, so, I am very picky with my Mediterranean food since I cook it myself so for me to say that this is the best it really is."
