"Had the Big ol Tex chili dog "local style" was over rice instead of in a bun. It was very good. Person in my group had the taco's due to us being there on Tuesday, he said they were excellent. Other member of our group had the smoked wings and said they were life changing. The waiter was very good."
"I ordered the two meat plate with Brisket and Turkey. I was not disappointed. Portions are good on protein but the mac n cheese and beans were a bit on the smaller side. Great decor and atmosphere, owner/manager is on the floor helping and meeting customers and the staff was friendly, Definitely worth checking out. We walked there so can't speak to the parking."
"This restaurant was 5minutes from my apartment and I really enjoyed the vibe here. The option was to eat outside or inside; the first time we ate here we ate outside so we got to see Honolulu's night life and the second time we ate inside by the bar and got to participated in trivia night. Trivia night was really fun even though my husband and I were clueless to the answers the host made us feel included and told us just guess. As a Caribbean national my expectation for food is very high; on both nights we had the 3meat platter. On the first night we had the pulled pork, ribs, turkey, fries along with the corn and some drinks. The turkey was dry, the pulled pork moist and the ribs were filled with powdered seasonings. For me the ribs was the best part and the fried boiled corn. On the second night we had the brisket, turkey and again the ribs and corn. The brisket was salty and undercooked I suppose persons would call it medium rare. The ribs were a bit salty as well but not as much as the brisket and the fried boil corn was good. As I said before Trivia night was fun...go team BobMarley!!!!! We had a few drinks here as well: local beer, Blue Hawaii and Hawaiian mule. These were alright. - Aloha"
"Went here twice because, well, the food is A, and the atmosphere is A+. Dining can be done outside, overlooking the streets of Waikiki or inside at the bar or not at the bar. I have done all 3. Additionally, to add flavour there are activities that can be enjoyed depending on the night of the visit. The BBQ plate is to die for, especially the corn and wash down with the Kona Longboard. It was definitely one of my favourite spots."
"If you want to have a Texas style BBQ, Tex808 BBQ is probably your best bet around Waikiki. We ordered a bunch of stuff ranging from ribs to brisket and I think overall I enjoyed the brisket the most. They provide three different bbq sauces and loved the sweet version as well as the spicy one. Live music added to the atmosphere and ambiance. Definitely a place to try while in Waikiki."
