"The interior where you can feel the age was comfortable. There were a lot of menus, but I ordered a dish with cowtail soup and bacon. Coffee was served, and the waiting time was not boring It was early lunch on Sunday My husband didn't eat a lot of cowtail soup, but it was the most memorable Hawaiian food for me Cilantro is also cut into small pieces Some said cowtail soup was salty, but it was delicious"
"Nice old time Hawaiian-style diner! Good comfort food, not too expensive. The ambiance is old-fashioned - if you're feeling nostalgic, this is the place for you! The biggest surprise was the Japanese Breakfast. We were expecting low-quality stuff that Zippy's used to serve, but what we got was pretty fancy, tasty, and satisfying and not too expensive either!"
"We stopped in for breakfast and were surprised at the selection avaliable. The coffee was decent and the food was made quickly. The Pancakes were fluffy and tasted great and although it was busy the service was adequate. We will likely go again."
"This is the spot. Whenever we come to the island this is where we go for dinner. The loco moco is fantastic, and my son declared that the ramen was the best he ever had. The food is amazing, the service is on point the only downside I'd the slightly dirty appearance such as dust on the vents above the bar and the speaker with cracking sound, but the food more then makes up for it."
"The Ox Tail Soup is solid. (It has peanuts) Beefy taste with cilantro and orange peel for a bit of zest to compliment the onion flavor. With a side of freshly grated ginger and two scoop rice. Can’t go wrong with this old time classic. The atmosphere is your old time diner. And the servers are sweet. I also got the Japanese breakfast served with your choice fish, rice, eggs cooked to your liking, salad and tsukemono. Was what I expected and tamed my hunger."
