"3/2024: Still a convenient stop when you want a tasty dessert or treat in Kapa’a, but don’t want to deal with one of the more touristy feeling options. I got a Salted Caramel Shake and it had a pretty nice flavor. 10/2022: Cute space that serves shave ice, coffee, boba, and ice cream. Got a strawberry and POG shave ice with ice cream. Very soft ice and tasty syrups. Decent price point too."

"Nice soft serve and coffee/frappe place with lots of options (check out the picture attached!). Some cakes and sweets too. It is located by the beach, making it perfect to enjoy with a nice view. Staff was friendly"

"One of our favorite places for shave ice on the island! The snow here is so soft and the syrups are great. You can also add matcha soft serve to any of the items! We also got a red bean mochi."

"I loved that Matcha-Ya was super clean, the workers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Acai Berry Bowl. The berries were incredible with so much flavor. The granola was fresh. My son had a fruit shake and loved it. We will definitely be stopping in again on our next vacation. This was a much healthier alternative to shaved ice."

"Super delicious sweet treats! My wife and I got a mango and strawberry shaved ice with condensed milk on top; absolutely delicious! This was also the first restaurant/store on Kauai I have been to that was taking every safety precaution for COVID-19; we’ve been two of only a handful of people we’ve seen on the island wearing masks, so it was refreshing to go to a place that asked you to sanitize your hands before and after paying, AND all the employees were wearing masks. 10/10 would recommend!"
