And don’t get me started on wood prices. I only go here in a pinch and will continue to order online. You get about the same level of customer support that way, none."

"This is a great store run by great people. I recently purchased a new lathe and sharpening system that had just gone on sale. When I was waiting for a salesperson the owner asked if I needed help and I told her I wanted to purchase the lathe and sharpener that had just gone on sale. She misunderstood and thought I had already purchased it and offered to refund me the difference between the new sales price and the regular price. That is what I call excellent customer service. She wanted to make sure I was a happy and satisfied customer to the point of refunding me some money! Also, the salesperson guided me through the entire purchase (a Powermatic midi lathe and Robert Sorby ProEdge sharpening system). He demoed the lathe and the sharpener, gave me some excellent tips, and made sure I had everything I needed. BTW, the lathe is absolutely everything he said it would be and more. And this is not a fluke. Every time I go in this store I get the same kind of service. Service and support you cannot get on Amazon. Support our community and shop LOCAL!"

"Had such a great experience going into this store as a complete novice. I explained the problem I was trying to solve for (getting/making quality wood dowels and beads) and I was given multiple options for how I could solve the problem. If I wanted to buy them, the store has some awesome dowel options and they provided clear instructions and advice for making the beads. Leon and Bruce helped me and made me feel so comfortable in this space. I know sometimes women (myself included) enter male-dominated locations with fear of being judged or made to feel stupid, but I can assure you that I didn’t see/hear/feel any of that fear here. I will absolutely be going back and I truly look forward to it."

"When Woodworkers Emporium closed I thought we would be without a high level woodworking shop, I was wrong. My first visit was a true pleasure. They've only been open for two weeks but they have a very nice selection of quality tools, hardware, stains and specialty lumber in a big open space with some very friendly guys workingthere. I won't try listing everything but suffice it to say I will be a regular customer and I live in Pahrump. Check them out."
