I'm a first-time homeowner builder and everything he said he would do they did and in fact went out of their way to deliver extra trusses for me and lowered the price. They were outstanding! They showed me what my roof trusses would look like on the computer, had me sit down in front of them, everything they gave me was high quality and this is my place for life when I need any kind of trusses for any construction job... "28 years in the business and this is a first for me. Received an estimate in Dec 2021 and decided to move forward with project in May 2022 once building permitting was approved. The lumber price is with in 10% of the cost in dec when the first estimate was provided how ever the estimate was literally double. 100% mark up in about 5 months. $7000-$13500 A more professional approach may have been to state they couldn't honor that original price and that it would need to increase to reflect the industry standard in materials costs and inflation. Or maybe just say you are too busy."

"I gave them a one star because I can't score them lower. We've paid Dogtown over $20,000 for trusses and have been waiting for months upon months, getting delay after delay. Their engineer placed multiple roadblocks to progress, even after our engineer and the county engineer approved plans. Promised dates come and go and still no delivery. We understand there are lumber supply issues, but we also know we've been REPEATEDLY placed behind larger projects, with not so much as an apology. We were originally told 4 DAYS for delivery, yet here we are 4 MONTHS later and still no trusses."

When we initially called John he was on time, very cordial and helpful, service provided was exceptional… we had to delay the delivery of our truss, three times, due to City of Las Vegas backed up at the time. Dog town (Daisy) was very helpful and accommodated us with 3 different delivery times. We offered to pay a fee and it was not accepted. They were very understanding & helpful, a joy to work with.
