"Do not go there unless you know exactly what you want, exactly where it is and don’t require any assistance from any of the employees because they stand behind the counter and just wait for you to come to them with your purchase. I tried four different people to get them to help me, but they wouldn’t, they pointed, and when I said no, that was not the right area, he insisted it was. After almost an hour I was no longer willing to patronize the store. However I still spent $60 and they didn’t have to do anything but push a few buttons and point. Why couldn’t they help me? Was it really so difficult to come out from behind the counter to assist a customer ? Apparently it is for these employees because they just stand around while the customers flounder . I look at it like this. My choices were either to come to this hardware store or to wait one day for McMaster to deliver it. Well, I will not be coming to this hardware store ever again when McMaster is half the price, no hassles, you won’t spend an hour trying to get someone to help you and then they won’t And leave frustrated. I’m a very good consumer I know good customer services. I know bad customer service, but I also know how to shop and I did my best to find what I was looking for and when I fail I try to rely on the people that work there , but what can you do if they won’t ever come out from behind the register as you can see from the photos they’re not busy they’re just lazy. Call or visit McMaster-Carr online. These guys are a joke!"
