"Got 58kW of the 62.5kW, in 29 degree weather. Not bad at all, anyone complaining doesn’t understand that they need a battery warmer of some sort, (only Tesla, Hyundai/Kia’s, Rivian have this feature for winter driving) or they are too new to EV charging to understand how awesome of a charging location this is. No one around, the level two charger would be a great place to camp in your car overnight and wake up with a full battery. Plenty of shopping and a coffee shop 30 feet away. Just like gas stations, these stations are almost always empty in the middle of the night. And like a gas station, you want to avoid it at certain times of the day, certain days of the week. For example Friday @5pm. Too many first time EV users at stations with a rental, who’ve been given zero knowledge about how to charge, and when, are expecting everything to go smoothly in the coldest or warmest of weather, at the busiest of times. More people need to take advantage of level two charging overnight during their trips. It’s often free too."
