"I've been coming here for a few years now and figure it's time to chime in. The coffee at Wood-fire Roasted Coffee Company is the best I've found in Reno. The selection is great, the roasts are consistent and, for people with a great sense of exploration and experimentation, you can join the coffee of the month club. I have great respect for Tim, the owner. I started coming here years ago as an errand boy for my mom. Tim not only showed me respect, he befriended me. As any college kid knows, it can be a rare thing for anyone with more than a decade on you to take you seriously. I certainly didn't expect it from this business owner but I knew, then, Tim is a good guy. He replies personally on yelp to people if they had a bad experience. He ships coffee to and fundraises for disaster relief. He had a passion for a thing and found a way to make money doing it. The price is higher than the crap you can buy at the grocery store, but we all have those things in life we value enough to spend a little more on. I'm pretty poor as a guy in his 20's, but I drink coffee every day. For me, it's worth it to sacrifice a little elsewhere for some artisan coffee."
