"Not just a bakery! I picked up some Jalapeño cheese bread for a camping trip once....now it has become a tradition! This bakery is awesome. They have such a large selection of breads and pastries. The coffee is pretty good also. And the food at the grill is so good. You must try the Reuben sandwich. There are a couple of small tables for dining but be warned, it can be very busy here at lunchtime!"
"Nice staff and lot of fresh baked pastries. They also have place to sit down. They serve lunch sandwiches too."
"An excellent place! If you're staying in Carson City, you can't go wrong stopping here for a vanilla Chai latte or a beautiful pastry. They had several cakes and bread loaves available. They even have local honey . It's a cool little establishment with lots of charm. The people were super nice."
"I guess I was hungry… all that’s left is my empty plate! Everything was delicious. We had the house favorite Schatts famous turkey sandwich. Plenty of turkey, and it tasted very fresh. I had the turkey vegetable soup, and it was fantastic with lots of turkey and vegetables, you could tell it’s homemade because I would found a couple of turkey bones in it, which I found a positive. Also had a Dutch dip sandwich. French dip with grilled onions. Breads are made locally and are fantastic. Service is great… I wish I was hungrier because I would love to eat some of the pastries in the pastry counter."
"Grabbed a few pies for Thanksgiving and hands down was the best pumpkin pie we have had. It was s creamy texture with the perfect crust. No need for cool whip. The fruit tart is a work of art, so pretty. I actually prefer the small tart over the large one, but still amazing!! We grabbed some bread to give as a gift. The place smells AMAZING !!!"
